PH35110: RTSMF DOES NOT SHUTDOWN AFTER A SUBTASK ABEND DURING STARTUP

Error description

• RTSMF does not shutdown after an error during subtask startup.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the RTSMF task encounters a        *
  *                      problem during startup of subtasks,     *
  *                      there are two issues:                   *
  *                      1) RTSMF does not automatically         *
  *                      shutdown to indicate the problem.       *
  *                      2) RTSMF does not always respond as     *
  *                      expected to a shutdown command.         *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  RTSMF was not correctly detecting failure of subtasks before
  they had all started. This leads to an uncertain status of
  tasks when requesting shutdown.
  

Problem conclusion

• Subtask completion status is correctly identified during the
  startup phase and shutdown initiated if any have failed.
