Problem
Access Client Solutions does not provide a 3270 emulation session. If an user needs to use a 3270 emulation session (to a mainframe for example), they can first connect to the IBM i OS and then Telnet to the mainframe.
Resolving The Problem
IBM i Access Client Solutions does not provide a 3270 emulation session. However, if an user needs to use a 3270 emulation session to a mainframe, for example, they can first connect to the IBM i OS with the IBM i Access Client Solutions 5250 emulation session and then Telnet from the IBM i OS to the mainframe or 3270 Telnet server. The IBM i OS Telnet client supports 3270 Telnet connections.
