Error description

  • IDR CDC for PostgreSQL Source reports an incorrect out-of-order
    progress message.

    Event logged: ID=9700 MSG=An internal error
    has occurred. IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (PostgreSQL) will
    continue processing. The error value is "Current bookmark:
    <bookmark> that will be sent in REPORT_POSITION_ID is before
    the previous bookmark: <bookmark> that was sent in
    REPORT_POSITION_ID for subscription <subscription name>. If CDC
    stops shortly after issuing this event, before restarting check
    if the bookmark in the bookmark table equals the previous
    bookmark. If so, refresh all tables, otherwise data loss may
    occur since CDC may think it has replicated farther than it
    actually has."

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * The replication engine was not updating the internal *
    * bookmark correctly, and as a result, it was reserving WAL *
    * files that were no longer needed for replication. *
    ****************************************************************
