Error description

  • Customer is performing EXTRACT processing of data.
He specifies the SKIP_EXT_CATALOG NO and REPLACE_EXT_DIR YES
keywords assuming that the EXTRACT file will be cataloged in the
Optim directory (of EXTRACT files).
However, since his Site Options specify
Register DASD Extract file ===> No
Replace Extr Dir in Batch  ===> No
the EXTRACT file is not being cataloged and he is not being
notified about this.

SKIP_EXT_CATALOG and REPLACE_EXT_DIR will now be diagnosed and
reported.
