Summary
The steps required to correctly apply the latest iFixes for IBM® License Key Server Administration and Reporting Tool 9.0 and Administration Agent 9.0 are provided in this document.

Steps
- Stop the ART.
- Backup the file <ART Installation Directory>/servers/rcladmin/conf/rcladmin/RCLServerAdminConfiguration.properties.
- Uninstall the ART. Delete any leftover ART installation directory.
- Stop the Agent.

Backup the complete folder <Agent Installation Directory>\servers\iclagent\Data\Reporting\LMSTAT. For redundant license servers, do the same for the other 2 servers as well.

Uninstall the Agent. Delete any leftover Agent installation directory.
- Drop and re-create the ARTDATA database.
- Download the fix titled IBM_LKS_Administration_Agent_90_iFix_X.
- Configure Installation Manager to use the repository at "LKS_ADMIN_AGENT\disk1\diskTag.inf" and install the agent. Do not start the Agent service.
- Restore the LMSTAT folder, backed up in step 5.
- If applying ifix5, download the OS-specific zip attached to the document and extract it to the LMSTAT folder; execute the script.
- Download the fix titled IBM_LKS_Administration_And_Reporting_Tool_90_iFix_X.
- Configure Installation Manager to use the repository at "LKS_ADMIN\disk1\diskTag.inf" and install ART.
- Restore the RCLServerAdminConfiguration.properties file backed up in step 2.
- Start the ART 9.0 service and configure the database connection.
- Stop ART service.
- Start Agent service, followed by ART service.
- Access the ART 9.0 webpage and add the agent. For redundant license servers, wait for all data from the primary server to get updated in the DB and then add the secondary server and do the same for the tertiary server as well.

The ifix is a complete IM repository that includes the full reporting tool package.
