Problem
My Guardium appliance went into recovery mode even though the disk is not full
Symptom
While login as cli, we see Read-only file system message
login as: cli
Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server
The cli database login failed
touch: cannot touch ‘/etc/.cli_firstlogin’: Read-only file system
Welcome cli - your last login was Wed Feb 3 01:30:02 2021
I can't reset the password expiration data. Something is wrong, please contact customer services.
Note:
The internal database on the appliance is currently down and CLI will be
working in 'recovery mode'; only a limited set of commands will be available
