What is the support policy for users of QRadar® Community Edition® (CE) and WinCollect®?
Answer
IBM® QRadar® Community Edition® is a free version of IBM QRadar intended for individual use and is released without a warranty. QRadar support does not take cases related to WinCollect integrations where the events are received by QRadar Community Edition (CE), even if you are a customer with support case entitlement. The QRadar Support team does not provide support assistance for QRadar Community Edition or WinCollect installations in lab environments. Support cases and engineer assistance is for users with production environments only.
If you have entitlement to IBM Fix Central you might have access to download and install Stand alone WinCollect software to send events to QRadar Community Edition. QRadar Support reserves the right to close cases related to QRadar Community Edition or WinCollect lab environments. Managed WinCollect is not supported on QRadar Community Edition (CE).
