Troubleshooting
Problem
Some users observe hanging in IBM Cognos Analytics UI / SDK. The issue always start a particular time after a restart.
Symptom
- Content Store resides in an Oracle database
- There is a firewall between IBM Cognos Content Manager and Oracle server
- The message "CM-SYS-5144 While processing your request, Content Manager locked a number of objects for ... seconds" is logged periodically in the cogaudit.log of Content Manager
- The above messages are always followed by

java.io.IOException: Connection timed out
