IJ30279: IF A USER CREATES A GRAPHICAL SCHEDULE AND THEN THE USER IS DEACTIVATED, OTHER USERS UNABLE TO SEE GANTT VIEW OF SCHEDULE

APAR status

Error description

  • If a user creates a graphical schedule and then the user is
    deactivated, the rendering of the Gantt view by other users
    causes an error and/or a warning based on different
    versions/circumstances.
    
    Steps to replicate
    Log in as WILSON/wilson
    Go to Security-Users application
    Insert new record, SCHEDUSER, set a password and accept defaults
    Go to Security Group tab and reference the MAXADMIN security
    group for user SCHEDUSER
    Sign out
    
    Sign in as user SCHEDUSER
    GO to Profile Information and set Default Insert Site=BEDFORD
    Go to Work Order Tracking and insert new record
    Scroll down to Schedule Start Date and set a date and time in
    the future
    Move to Schedule Finish Date and set date as same as above set
    time 1 hour later
    Duration=1:00
    Go to Plans tab
    Insert a new Task=10
    Go to Labor sub-tab and insert a new row, Task=10, Craft=ELECT
    
    Go to Graphical Scheduler application
    Insert a new record SUNYSCHED
    Calendar=DAY, SHIFT=DAY EAGLENA
    Click on More Information sub-tab and ensure that checkbox
    Public? is
    CHECKED
    Create a work order query to retrieve the work order created
    above
    Go to the Scheduler View and the schedule is displayed
    Under Common Actions
    scroll down to Manage Commit Access menu option and add user
    WILSON
    Sign out
    
    Sign in as WILSON
    Go to Security-User application and recall user SCHEDUSER
    Change status of user to INACTIVE
    Sign out
    
    Sign in as WILSON
    Go to Graphical Scheduler and recall the same scheduler created
    by user
    SCHEDUSER
    Click on the Scheduler View tab
    
    RESULT
    Error is thrown and The data cannot display is also thrown
    
    BMXAA4214E - An unknown error has occurred. Please contact your
    system administrator for assistance. Gather the logs from the
    <HOME> directory and determine where and why the error occurred.
    com.ibm.tivoli.maximo.skd.util.SchedulerException: BMXAT0046E -
    The model information for project SUNYSCHED failed to load. For
    more information, check the Maximo log file (in your application
    server directory) or contact your system administrator.
    BMXAA7901E - You cannot log in at this time. Contact the system
    administrator.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT
    Another user should be able to view the schedule
