Summary

You can configure IBM Maximo Mobile applications, for example, adding a new field, by modifying presentation XML files for an application. Additionally, you can create custom JavaScript code to support application functionality.

The Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.8 Docker container image is the latest version of the configuration application.
Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.8 is available on the IBM Entitled Registry. Refer to Maximo Application Framework Configuration application deployment for download and deployment information.
Version 8.7

The Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.7 Docker container image is the latest version of the configuration application.
Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.7.8
Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.7.8 is available on the IBM Entitled Registry. Follow the instructions in the Customizing Mobile 8.4 applications with the Maximo Application Framework Configuration application_0.pdf document to download and run the maf-tools:8.7.8 Docker container image. Replace command references to the maf-tools:8.7.0 image with maf-tools:8.7.8.

You must install IBM Maximo Mobile IFIX 8.6.0-IBM-MAXMOBILE-IFIX001 before using Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.6.3.
Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.6.3 allows users to bypass system checks for valid security certificates when retrieving and publishing applications in development and demonstration environments.

Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.6.7 is a compatibility release. You must install IBM Maximo Mobile IFIX 8.6.0-IBM-MAXMOBILE-IFIX002 before using Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.6.7.
Known issues
Maximo Application Framework Configuration application v8.6.x releases do not automatically remove deleted applications from the application list. You must log out of the Maximo Application Framework Configuration application and log back in to refresh the application list.
