Resolving The Problem
========================================================================================
Important Note: Starting in i 7.1, AnyNet (a method used to run SNA communications traffic
over IP) is no longer supported. Users of AnyNet are encouraged to migrate to Enterprise
Extender as a replacement.

Problem Resolution
Ensure there is only one QZPAIDOMAN data area on the system and that the length
is 32 characters.

0 'SNA.IBM.COM '
This data area is used by AnyNet to store the host name used to resolve an IP address. By default it is
SNA.IBM.COM. It can be changed to any other valid host name that is not longer than 32 characters. Use
the CHGDTAARA command to configure the data area properly for your system. In addition, if there are
any other QZPAIxxxxx data areas on the system, they should be deleted. Only one is required in library
QUSRSYS as described above.
Additional Information
Other errors can include TCP4F02 or MCH1202 when AnyNet is trying to start.
To determine if the situation can be resolved do the following:
| 1 | To find all data areas used by AnyNet, run the following command from the operating system command line: WRKOBJ OBJ(QZPAI*) OBJTYPE(*DTAARA) |
| 2 | Data areas used by AnyNet include: QZPAIKPANR QZPAIKPART QZPAIKPATM QZPAIDOMAN QZPAIPORTN If any of these exist, rename them and restart AnyNet. If AnyNet starts, these data areas are more than likely corrupted and must be rebuilt. |
