Db2 fix pack upgrade problem from Manage > Operations in IBM Cloud Pak System 2.3.3.3 shipped with Db2 pattern type 1.2.13.0

Troubleshooting


Problem

A user experiences failure when upgrading the fix pack from the Manage > Operations menu on the deployed IBM® Db2 BLU Acceleration Pattern 1.2.13.0 instance.

Symptom

Following symptoms describe the fix pack upgrade operation:
Virtual machine:
Log in to the virtual machine and verify the db2level.
The Db2 version is not upgraded to the selected version.
User interface:
On the Manage > Operations > Apply fixpack page, the Db2 version is not upgraded but a success message is displayed instead of an error message.
Logs:
The following message appears in the trace.log file under IWD Agent->DB2_Server_Part-1:
