  * and using zIIPs abended with an                              *
  * ABEND04E RC00E501A1 from DSNVSRX                             *
  * +x'2C80' and Db2 abnormally                                  *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

  A LOAD utility with COPYDDN utilizing partition parallelism
  and using zIIPs abended with an ABEND04E RC00E501A1 from
  DSNVSRX +x'2C80' and Db2 abnormally terminated.
  The abend occurred as a result of a zIIP image copy task
  being internally cancelled while it was suspended waiting
  for its buffer to be written.  Being cancelled while suspended
  resulted in that task abending with an ABEND04E RC00E50013
  from DSNURMPG +x'B6E' however certain control block flag
  settings were not cleared.  When the next zIIP task attempted
  to suspend, the code interpreted those flag settings as this
  task having been cancelled which resulted in Db2 abnormally
  terminating with ABEND04E RC00E501A1 from DSNVSRX OFFSET2C80.
  A similar problem can occur with REORG TABLESPACE COPYDDN.

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to clear the flag settings when the
  reported scenario occurs.
