• After migrating to DB2 V8 and attempting to execute an EXPLAIN
  the following error messages are issued:
  EEE538E EXPLAIN OD SUPPLIED SQL-statement FAILED, SQL-code: -104
  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -104, ERROR:ILLEGAL SYMBOL
  DSNT418I SQLSTATE = 42601
