APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• z/Os for a DB2 agent running connecting to TEMS, we get
  duplicate rows returned from a number of SQL requests. The DB2
  agent is FP2 and TEMS is FP7. A query
  that triggers this
  condition is as follows:

Local fix

• Modify the SQL Statement to have the value of ORIGINNODE appear
  as the first parameter in the list of columns to return.
  

Problem summary

• On z/Os  for a DB2 agent running connecting to TEMS, we get
  duplicate rows returned from a number of SQL requests.
  
  
  If a SQL SELECT statement is processed by the Monitoring Server
  Proxy and that statement does not have the ORIGINNODE column as
  the first column listed for the result set, then the Monitoring
  Server will send a request to the Agent's Instance with a list
  of duplicate Subnode names.
  

Problem conclusion

• Check to prevent adding duplicate Subnode names to the list of
  Subnodes associated with the Agent's instance.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
