Troubleshooting
Problem
At the time of publishing of this technote, Guardium® is not able to capture encrypted traffic from mysql using STAP (External STAP supports both SSL and non-SSL enabled. See Related Information). You can check whether Guardium® STAP supports encrypted connections by looking at the "Encrypted Traffic" column at "Supported Platforms database for Data Activity Monitoring" when you introduce your environment details.

Symptom
You can see local traffic from mysql going into Guardium® but remote traffic is not collected
