Troubleshooting
Problem
When a Planning Analytics server has elements of a different type (member, level, subset) that share a name, then Cognos Analytics query service is not able to handle them properly because the queries become ambiguous.
Symptom
Case 1 - When a query includes a name that is shared by both a subset and a member or a level, then the chances that the response contains the requested object are poor. If the response to the query is not what is expected, then Query Service detects the situations and produce an internal error that starts with:
XQE-GEN-0010 Found an internal error: '!mapSuccess - reportName=
Case 2- When a cube has a member and a level that share a name, and that name is used in a query, then the response corresponds to the member not the level. In other words, a report or dashboard author querying for the ambiguously named level sees instead a single member that which has the same name as the requested level.
