Summary
Downgrade/roll back an install of Cognos Analytics is possible if a backup of the Content Store was made prior to an upgrade (in-place or separate location).
For example, if an upgrade from 11.0.13 to 11.1.7 was done in-place, then a downgrade/roll back is possible by installing 11.0.13 in a separate location and pointing to the 11.0.13 content store backup which was done prior to the upgrade.
