Problem
Running the CPYFRMTAP command results in the following message: CPF2973 - Data from file QSYSTAP in QSYS truncated to 32766 characters.
Resolving The Problem
When running the CPYFRMTAP command from a tape that was created with a SAVxxx command, the following messages are issued:
CPF2973 - Data from file QSYSTAP in QSYS truncated to 32766 characters.
CPF4911 - The received data length is greater than specified.
When trying to use the file with CPYTOTAP, it fails.
This occurs because the save was performed specifying USEOPTBLK(*YES).
To allow the CPYFRMTAP and CPYTOTAP to work, specify *NO for the USEOPTBLK parameter on the SAVxxx command.
