APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It is not possible to reorder direct issue when the requesting
    person is inactive in the Maximo..
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1.
    Go to Users application and create a new user or duplicate
    Maxadmin user - new user: MAXIMO
    
    2. Login as MAXIMO and go to
    Work Order Tracking application.
    Create a new Wo. 1201
    Click on
    Plans Tab.
    Click on Materials Subtab.
    Insert a New Row and
    populate the data (Item:560-00, Quantity:1, Direct Issue:
    marked).
    Approve
    
    3. Login as MAXADMIN / WILSON
    
    6. Go to
    People application and bring up record for the MAXIMO.
    Change
    the Status to INACTIVE.
    
    7. Go to Inventory applicantio and
    bring up item 560-00 (Central storeroom)
    More Actions > Reorder
    > Reorder Direct Issue Itms/Svcs
    Run REORDER
    
    8. Go back to the
    Work Order Tracking and bring up wo 1201
    Under Plans Tab >
    Material no PR was created against this work order.
    
    If your
    email is configured to receive notifications from the reorder,
    you will receive the following notification:

    in the SystemErr log file
    
    Reorder finished 10/27/20 3:04 PM.

    - The person does not exist or is not active.
    
    EXPECTED
    RESULTS: Maximo shouldn?t allow the Status of a Person to be
    changed to INACTIVE if there is a reference of the Person on an
    active transaction
    
    RESULTS: There is no verification by the
    system, whether the person to be inactivated has any pending
    transactions.
