Error description

  • This command reg query
"HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FIPSAlgorithmPolicy
is not working on Windows 2003 but working in higher versions
of windows.
But this command reg query
"HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\" /v
"fipsalgorithmpolicy" is working in 2003 but not working in
higher versions of windows. So it is handled in code with
alternate command reg query
"HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\" /v
"fipsalgorithmpolicy" for windows 2003 also.
