APAR status

Error description

  • You are running CICS Transaction server 5.5, with SIT
    option STGRCVY=YES specified. (Storage Recovery turned on)
    A storage violation was found involving the trailing
    SAA of a TIOA - terminal input output area. This led to
    message:
    DFHSM0102  CSTP 00010 A storage violation (code X'0D05')
               has been detected by module DFHSMMF.
    When attempting to repair the TIOA storage- a program check
    occurred in DFHTRPX  at offset 000003E8.
    Failing instruction is Move Character Long-MVCL    R10,R14
    due to R14 containing 7FFFFFF8.

    *                      violation in by module DFHSMMC2 is      *
    *                      followed by message DFHTR0112 for bad   *
    *                      data being passed to module DFHTRPT.    *
    ****************************************************************
    A CICS region is started with the SIT option STGRCVY=YES.
    When a transaction is run a storage violation overwrites a TIOA
    leading or trailing SAA.  The storage violation is indicated by
    message DFHSM0102.
    This is followed by message DFHTR0112 which indicates an error
    while attempting to write a CICS trace exception entry.
    
    DFHSM0102 applid trnid nnnnn A storage violation (code X'0E06')
    has been detected by module DFHSMMC2.
    
    DFHTR0112 applid Bad data passed for tracing to module DFHTRPT.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Module DFHSMCK has been changed to use the correct pointer when
    calling trace_saa_recovery.
