CVEID:   CVE-2019-6187
DESCRIPTION:   Lenovo XClarity Controller (XCC) could allow a local authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by a stored CSV injection flaw. By using a specially-crafted file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the system.

DESCRIPTION:   Lenovo XClarity Controller (XCC) could allow a remote authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper authorization validation. By sending a specially crafted request, an authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain access to higher-privileged information.

Remediation/Fixes

For unsupported releases or or end of support releases recommendation is to upgrade to supported  release of the product. 

Make sure Authentication and Authorization; or LDAP Authentication and Authorization modes are configured and used by XCC.

For IBM Cloud Pak System v2.3.0.1, v2.3.1.1, v2.3.2.0, v.2.3.3.1, 

upgrade to v2.3.3.3 in 4Q. Information on firmware and upgrade available here.
