  • Problem Description
    When using the Start/Stop Timer in Work
    Execution, an error occurs after entering in multiple time
    cards then trying to review/report work.
    
    System message - You
    must complete all edits before selecting this option.
    
    STEPS TO
    REPRODUCE: clear recreate steps that make sense to someone not
    involved in PMR/Case.
    Set UP
    .GO TO >> SYSTEM CONFIGURATION >>
    PLATFORM CONFIGURATION >> APPLICATION DESIGNER
    .Brin up
    WOTRACK
    .SELECT ACTION >> ADD/MODIFY TOOLBAR MENU
    .Create a new
    row
    .Element Type: OPTION
    .Key Value: STARTTIMER
    .Position:
    40
    .Subposition: 0

    .In Crafts section click New Row
    .Craft: ELECT
    (FIRST CLASS skill level with no contract)
    .Save
    
    Replicating
    the issue
    
    .GO TO >> WORK ORDERS >> WORK ORDER TRACKING
    .Create
    a new work order
    .Supervisor: MAXADMIN
    .COMMON ACTIONS >> TAKE
    OWNERSHIP
    .COMMON ACTIONS >> APPROVE WORK ORDER
    .Click OK
    
    .GO
    TO >> WORK ORDER >> WORK EXECUTION
    .In the work order created,
    Click on Start >> Actual Work Time >> Start. The message should
    show that the WO started.
    .Wait one minute.
    .Click on Stop >>
    No, Stop only >> Check the date/time are unique >> Done.
    .Wait
    one minute.
    .On the same WO. Click on Start >> Actual Work
    Time >> Start. The message should show that the WO
    started.
    .Wait one minute.
    .Click on Stop >> No, Stop only >>
    Check the date/time are unique -> Done.
    .Back in Maximo
    Classic, click on the WO and confirm that the two Labor
    transactions appear.
    .Back in Work Execution WC, click on the
    WO card.
    .In the top right, click on Report Work.
    .This will
    bring up the two time cards, both of which are green and both
    showing as if something has been updated.
    .Try to save these
    records and you will get the error
    .Try to go back and you will
    get the error
    .Try to click on Complete Work and you will get
    the error
    
    RESULTS: System message - You must complete all
    edits before selecting this option.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS: User
    expects to complete the work order.
