Troubleshooting
Problem
When using Chrome version 83 or later with Single Sign On (SSO) log out fails. This issue is not seen with other browsers or with earlier versions of Chrome.
Symptom
Normally, when SSO is configured and the user clicks log out, the Log Out URL is sent by the iFrame, the Content Navigator desktop reloads, and then redirects to the SSO authentication page. As of Chrome version 83, the desktop only reloads.
Cause
Chrome version 83 introduces a new setting that sets all cookies that do not specify a SameSite attribute to lax.
This new setting prevents the SSO authentication cookies sent to Content Navigator from being cleared by the SSO logout.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the problem, type the following in the browser address bar and then disable the SameSite by default cookies setting.
chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookies
