How do I disable IBMid login in Blueworks Live?
Answer
IBMid can be disabled at both the account or individual user level. If your account is enabled for IBMid authentication but you would like to log in by using another method, you can disable IBMid in various ways:
To disable IBMid at the individual user level:
- Your account administrator can select the method you can use to log in to Blueworks Live. Under the Admin > User Management tab, the account administrator can change or update any user's login method by clicking a user's name:
- Alternatively, Your account administrator can also allow every user to modify their own login preference. To do it, an administrator must ensure that the setting "Restrict authentication method for all users" is not checked in the Admin > Security tab. This setting is checked by default and restricts users to log in with IBMid only.
Once the setting is unchecked by an account admin, users can click on their name on the top of the Blueworks Live homepage and select their preferred login method:

To disable IBMid at the account level:
Your administrator can also disable IBMid at the account level, which disables IBMid login for every user in the account. To do it, click the Admin -> Security -> IBMid tab. On the IBMid tab, click 'Disable IBMid'.
