Problem
The IBM i Access Client Solutions 5250 Emulator requests a specific Device Type based on its configuration.
Resolving The Problem
The 5250 Display and Print Emulator included with IBM i Access Client Solutions only supports 5250 Telnet Emulation. There are four different emulation modes that it supports: Standard, Widescreen, DBCS, and Printer. Each one of these modes request and use a specific 5250 Device Type, as follows:

These are the only 5250 Device Types that IBM i Access Client Solutions is designed and able to use.
