Troubleshooting
Problem
When you use the Import feature to transfer data from a Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 or 11.1.7 FP1 deployment into a newer version, the import may appear to be successful, but some data sets may be corrupted.
This does not apply to data created from:
- Uploaded files
- Data sets created when Compatible Query Mode was used
- Data sets that were not created or refreshed using Cognos 11.1.7 or 11.1.7 FP1
Symptom
When the data is imported from the deployment, the following error message is displayed:
CM-UPG-4030 The object was not upgraded. CM-SYS-5183 While upgrading the object "/content/folder[@name="folder_name"]/folder[@name="September 12th"]/dataSet2[@name="Data and AI Pipeline 360 Data Set"]/reportVersion[@name="2020-09-10T11:37:32.494Z"]/output[@name="2020-09-10T11:37:32.673Z"]", Content Manager received the following message from the plugin: "CM-UPG-4038 Unable to update dataSet. Please refer to https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6359143 for more information."
