Error description

• Db2 Admin Tool: expected 2 ALTER COLUMN stmts, AOC generates 1
  ALTER COLUMN and 1 ADD COLUMN stmt
  
  For example
  
  ALTER TABLE A.T1
    RENAME COLUMN COL1 TO COL1_NEW;
  
  ALTER TABLE A.T1
    RENAME COLUMN COL1_OLD TO COL1;
  
  Results in:
  
    (A)Column renamed from COL1 to COL1_NEW
    (D)Column COL1 added

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a user specifies change statements *
  *                      for correctly renaming dependent        *
  *                      columns, Db2 Admin Tool misinterprets   *
  *                      the statements to be processed as a     *
  *                      rename column and an add column         *
  *                      instead of two renames.                 *
  ****************************************************************
  Db2 Admin Tool processes two ALTER TABLE RENAME COLUMN
  statements as ALTER TABLE RENAME COLUMN and one ALTER TABLE
  ADD COLUMN statement when the second rename matches an existing
  column at a earlier column position. Compare should correctly
  process the second ALTER TABLE RENAME COLUMN as a RENAME
  instead of an ADD column.
