PH30969: CC<8 DESPITE INCOMPLETE UNLOADED DATA WHEN UNLOADING FROM AN IC OF A UTS WITH PART #'S GT MAXPARTITIONS ATTRIBUTE OF TARGET TS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The unload from the image copy of a UTS
  tablespace does not unload the data from the partitions which
  number is greater than the MAXPARTITIONS attribute of the
  involved tablespace - as described by the Db2 catalog - and
  completes with a normal completion code (less than 8) without
  any notification to the user about the missing data situation.
  In such a case, Db2  HPU should report an error and stop with
  completion code of 8.
  

Local fix

• none to get warned of the abnormal situation but,if the
  intention is to unload the data from all partitions from the
  image copy,specifty the DDLDN option to provide a modified
  version of the DDL of the involved tablespace where
  MAXPARTITIONS has been increased to a value greather than the
  highest partition number contained in the input image copy.
