APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A tablespace or some of its partitions involved
    in a Db2 HPU step have the undesired RO (Read Only) restricted
    state after Db2 HPU has stopped. This occurs when the following
    conditions are fulfilled :
    - the HPU job terminated in ABEND
    - the LOCK of the unloaded table is requested (either LOCK YES
    is specified in the unload command or the parmlib parameter
    VUU012/ULLOCK is set to YES)
    - the VUU074/ULLOCKTE parmlib parameter is set to START_RO
    - the VUM031/QUITSUSR parmlib parameter is not equal to
    CURRENT_USER and set to a specific userid
    

Local fix

  • if applicable, change the setting of VUM031/QUITSUSR.
