Abstract
In this project, the AIX feature of Live Update was validated successfully on SAP systems. The scope of the validation included two small to medium-sized SAP systems and one huge SAP system, all with ABAP stack. Any issues found during testing were investigated and resolved. They are documented in this paper together with a set of best practices collected during the project.
