Summary
This document contains sample jobs that can be used to install WebSphere Application Server for z/OS V8.5.5.
Objective
The attached file contains a set of sample jobs for installing IBM WebSphere Application Serve V8.5.5 on z/OS. These jobs present current best practices for product install, and will eventually be incorporated into the SBBOJCL library of WebSphere Application Server V8.5 (5655-W65).
Edit and submit this file as a batch job to place the sample jobs into a partitioned data set. See member BBO$INDX for an index.
Note: These jobs require a minimum Installation Manager level of 1.9.0.

Jobs have been added for Java 11 installation on WebSphere Liberty.
All samples have been updated to follow current IBM recommendations:
- Default Installation Manager location is /global/instmgr.
- All repositories are in /global/instmgr.
- All products are installed under /global/instmgr/products.
- Credentials files are stored in each user's home directory.
An index and several new jobs have been added, along with a complete set of sample jobs utilizing a "portable install" layout which can be moved from one z/OS system to another while remaining serviceable with IBM Installation Manager.
