Error description

• Excessive requests for the DB2 Utilities Enhancement Tool
  DISCOVER EXEC caused numerous unnecessary DISP/START/STOP
  TRACE requests via IFI. This resulted in abend 04E reason
  code 00E20004 indicating that the storage pool was already
  at maximum size.

  *                      I've had a quick look at the dump and   *
  *                      it seems like GETMAIN could not obtain  *
  *                      variable storage in PHB 21098410 which  *
  *                      is CMD WORK POOL - DSN9SCNP (command    *
  *                      routine). There is quite a few blocks   *
  *                      under 21098410 where none has free      *
  *                      storage left. It seems UET (Utility     *
  *                      Enhanced Tool) address space has been   *
  *                      involved into the abend, although it    *
  *                      might be just a victim. Could you       *
  *                      please have a look at the dump?         *
  *                      I'll send the dump, logrecs and         *
  *                      operlog to ecurep. I'll also look       *
  *                      through DPB3's archive logs to          *
  *                      identify commands executed before the   *
  *                      abend but it will take a while before   *
  *                      I can send it. Please note that DPB3    *
  *                      has been restarted with new code level  *
  *                      a week after this abend and for this    *
  *                      reason I do not have its original       *
  *                      MEPLs. However, there are still         *
  *                      members of other DSG running with       *
  *                      exact the same code level that DPB3     *
  *                      used during the abend so I'll send      *
  *                      MEPL of another member instead.         *

  * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  Code has been changed to correct this condition.
