    * version 1.1 apars are forward fit into *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
If a HALDB db has partition selection exit defined, DBR was not
driving it to obtain a partition ID for a given key, this
resulted in the wrong partition being chosen for the segment
search. The apars forward fit include: PQ93780 - allow longer
    keys . PQ95108,PQ95690 several problems with DEDBs. PQ93575 -
DBR work correctly with DBs undergoing OLR. PQ99060 - IMSIDs
    disappearing

Problem conclusion

  • The PSE fix, and apar forward fits all required code logic
fixes. See those apar closings for further details. For PSE, you
now see the PSE Name on panels FABZP1SP,FABZPS1X. If there is
no PSE defined for this DBD, it shows PSENAME=**NULL**... else
it shows the PSE name. If PSE name is not **NULL**,then you can
enter a key and DBR will drive the PSE to get the partition ID.
Specifying both DBD and Key results in new message, FABZ095.
FABZ095I: Cannot specify DBD & Key when PSE Name is not **NULL**
Explanation:If PSE name is not NULL,then you cannot specify a DB
You must just enter a key,and the PSE will choose the partition
    System Action:Processing continues
    Problem Determination: none
Programmer Response: clear out the DBD field on the panel
