Error description

• ABEND0C9 is issued when processing HALDB OSAM and the block size
  of the 1st partition is not the same as that registered to the
  RECON.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

•   USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS High Performance Unload
                    for z/OS Version 1 Release 2 (FMID=H1IN120 .
  
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABEND0C9 is issued when processing
                         HALDB OSAM with incorrect block size
  
    RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.
  
  ABEND0C9 is issued in the module FABH011x when processing HALDB
  OSAM and the block size of the 1st unloaded partition is not the
  same as that registered to the RECON. Because HP Unload tries to
  check the size of buffer before obtaining the buffer.
  

Problem conclusion

• The module FABH512 has been modified to bypass checking
  the size of buffer when the buffer has not been obtained.
