To facilitate the migration of IBM RPA with AA from version 11.x to version 19.x (and to avoid "double payment" during that migration period), IBM is offering customers complimentary "extended entitlement" to the latest 19.x version/release of the IBM RPA with AA product to migrate from an earlier 11.x version/release of IBM RPA with AA for a period up to 12 months. NOTE: This does not extend support of IBM RPA with AA 11.x versions beyond the published end of support dates.
A list of eligible products and their equivalent entitlement products under the extended entitlement program are defined in the Entitlement Mappings sections below.
How to Request Extended Entitlement
Customers with an active subscription to the eligible products (see Entitlement Mappings section below) can request extended entitlement to the newly entitled products. IBM will grant at no charge, temporary Program use and Software Subscription and Support (S&S) rights up to the number of current license and Software S&S entitlements currently in place for IBM RPA with AA 11.x product (see Entitlement Mappings for eligible products), as well as an equal number of migrated licenses and Software S&S entitlements, for the new version and release of IBM RPA with AA 19.x. (i.e. migrating from IBM RPA with AA 11.x to IBM RPA with AA 19.x would be entitled to use both versions for the migration period up to 12 consecutive months). The temporary use and Software S&S rights are solely for the use of both Programs for migration. A migration plan must be in place prior to final approval.
An extended migration waiver can be requested through your Digital Business Automation (DBA) sales and S&S renewal representatives. Once the request is reviewed, signed and submitted, the extended entitlement waiver will be processed as quickly as possible.
