Troubleshooting
Problem
During the patch, pretest fails with psql error, "There are unfinished transactions remaining".
Symptom
The update will fail to complete with:
[ERROR](-i-testmode) sql pretest errored, halting.[6/9] Install & Upgrade Packages failed to complete successfully.
In /var/log/setup-(..)/patches.log, you will see:
[6/9] Install & Upgrade Packages installing produced:
There are unfinished transactions remaining. You might consider running yum-complete-transaction first to finish them.
[INFO](-i-testmode) Set <hostname> status to 'Patch Test Failed'
[ERROR](-i-testmode) Patching can not continue
