How do I know whether Db2 is running the VUE version?
Cause
No message or confirmation is returned to verify that the VUE license is active after installation.
Answer
The program number, which is reported in the Sub-Capacity Reporting Tool (SCRT) report that is generated from SMF type 89, indicates if Db2 is running on the Value Unit Edition (VUE) license. It will be one of the following:
- Db2 12 for z/OS (5770-AF3)
- Db2 12 for z/OS (5650-DB2)
Program number 5770-AF3 indicates that Db2 is running the VUE license.
