Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    1. Go to Logging application.

    2. Configure the logging settings the following:
    Logger: sql
    Log Level: INFO
    Appenders: both Console and Rolling

    3. Save and Apply Settings.

    4. Go to System Properties application.

    5. Bring up the system property mxe.db.logSQLTimeLimit

    6. Set the Global Value to 1, save and run the Live Refresh.

    7. Go to Work Order Tracking application.

    8. Bring up to the screen a Parent WO with a large hierarchy.
The Work Orders should have Inspections.

    9. Change the WO Description and save the record.

    RESULTS:
Slow performance while updating the Work Order.
Large number of the following SQL statement in the
    SystemOut.log:
    select count(*) from inspectionresult where
referenceobjectid='XXXX' and siteid= 'YYYY' and referenceobject
    in (WORKORDER','WOACTIVITY','PARENTWO') for read only

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
Better performance by avoiding unnecessary SQL statements, for
example, all the "select count(*) from inspectionresult"
statements. Count isn't necessary. Also, if INSPFORMNUM is not
modified, don't traverse the work order hierarchy for purposes
    of re-synching INSPFORMNUM.

    REPORTED IN VERSION:
    IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.1
