This document explains how to edit job authority through the Advanced Job Scheduler.
Resolving The Problem
To edit job authority through the Advanced Job Scheduler, you should do the following:
To edit the authorities using IBM Navigator for i, you should do the following:
1. Select Work Management
2. Then Advanced Job Scheduler
3. Click on Scheduled Jobs
4. Right click on job in question and select Permissions

Issue the GO JS command. |
| 2. | Select Option 1. Work with Jobs. |
| 3. | Press Enter on the Work with Jobs Using JS (WRKJOBJS) screen. |
| 4. | Select the job using Option 13=Edit job authority. |
| 5. | Add user and authorities, and press Enter. |
To edit the authorities using IBM Navigator for i, you should do the following:
1. Select Work Management
2. Then Advanced Job Scheduler
3. Click on Scheduled Jobs
4. Right click on job in question and select Permissions
5. Edit a current users authority or click New and add a new user and click OK.
