Error description

  • Some of the HASH checking modules, invoked from the image copy
    product (ICE or HPIC), are moved to above 16M byte line by this
    APAR. This change is not effective when HD Pointer Checker runs
    as a standalone utility.

    *                 - IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS   *
    *                   V3R1(FMID=H1J0310) or V3R2(FMID=H1J0320)   *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Provide virtual storage constraint      *
    *                      relief by moving some HD Pointer        *
    *                      Checker load modules blocks above the   *
    *                      16M-byte bar that are associated with   *
    *                      the database scan process when the HASH *
    *                      Check option is invoked from an image   *
    *                      copy product (ICE V2R1 or HPIC V3).     *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
    ****************************************************************
    The scan process load modules are changed to RMODE ANY.
    This change resolves load error in the image copy job and
    increases the maximum number of image copy sub tasks.
