Error description

  • 1) ABENDS0C7 COMCSUTC+22C formatting UTC time with incorrect
    IMS version (e.g. IMS V10 or V11 logs utilized with IMS
       V13 being specified to IMSPI).                           S0C7
    2) IMS Connect have added XCF group to the Datastore Information
       Block (DSIB), so we're adding support for this.
    3) IMS Connect have added IRM extensions for Password Phrase,
       Context and Tracking ID, so we're adding support for this.
    4) The IMS Connect A9 XML trace record can be difficult to
       interpret, so improvements are being made.
    5) FORMAT(BRIEF) does not display UTC in report, which we will
       correct here.
    

Local fix

  • For item #1, specify the correct IMS Release for individual log
    files.

    This APAR addresses the following issues:
    1.IMS Connect have added XCF group to the Datastore Information
      Block (DSIB).
    2.IMS Connect have added IRM extensions for Password Phrase,
      Context and Tracking ID.
    3.The IMS Connect A9 XML trace record can be difficult to
      interpret.
    4.Abend S0C7 COMCSUTC+22C formatting UTC time with incorrect
      IMS version.
    5.FORMAT(BRIEF) does not display UTC in report.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The following changes have been made for the above issues:
    1.Added support for changes to the DSIB used in IMS Connect
      knowledge modules.
    2.Added support for IRM extensions.
    3.Improvements to the formatting of the IRM and RXML sections of
      the IMS Connect A9 XML trace record.
    4.Additional validation performed before passing UTC timestamps
      for formatting.
    5.Display UTC in FORMAT(BRIEF) report output.
