Error description

• ABENDS0C4 ISPDVCPT x'CCE' after the following series of QCF
  panel events:
  1) Access QCF via ISPF
  2) Select IMSID xxxx
  3) copy/delete(X) for a queue
  4) specify a dsname for which QCF-server has NO update access
  5) delete attempt is ended with msg Bad RC from Server-PF1
  6) PFK03 ( PF3 ) on Panel IQCP94C
  7) PFK03 ( PF3 ) on Panel IQCP001A results in ABEND0C4
  .
  ISPDVCPT is at the UA34981 level.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: User's of QCF2.1 ISPF client.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 0C4 in client if server is not          *
  *                      authorized to use data sets to unload   *
  *                      or copy messages. Same 0C4 may show if  *
  *                      the server request to the control       *
  *                      region ends with error.                 *
  *                       The reason for the 0C4 is              *
  *                      skipping the ISPF CONTROL RESTORE       *
  *                      command after bad return code from      *
  *                      server. Display environment is not      *
  *                      restored and accepting the next panel   *
  *                      results in an error in ISPF programs.   *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The clients programs are fixed to go through restore command
  after bad return code from server.
  

Problem conclusion

• The client's programs are fixed to avoid 0C4 in ISPF due to
  unrestored distplay environment.
