APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In IMS PA V4.1 the CPUTIME data provided by the IMS X'07' record
    is in Timer Units, which is converted to Micro-second numbers in
    the Transaction History extract.  In IMS PA V4.2 the CPUTIME
    data is provided in Micro-seconds, but the same conversion
    factor is still being applied in the Transaction History
    extract.
    The CPUTIME conversion factor is no longer required.
    

Local fix

  • Conversion factor is to divide by 26.04166 in case anyone
    needs to make any conversion by hand.

    Also, we removed the dynamic allocation of IPIDIAGS.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Conversion of CPUTIME data is no longer required in the
    Transaction History extract.
