Error description

  • When IMS Sysplex Manager DC is shutdown, messages GJE0430E
and GJE0991E may be issued repeatedly.  They can be ignored
at shutdown time.

*                      issued repeatedly.                      *

The common XCF service module GJECCXC0 which is used by SM CR,
DC, and UI server component issues the msg GJE0430E when
the IXCMSGO service call fails.  Sometimes the message fails to
be to deliver to the intended destination because the recipient
is no longer available due to a shutdown or abend.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • GJECCXC0 was modified to check for for 'inactive' member
condition and skip issueing the GJE0430E message.
The debug message GJE0991E was also turned off for the related
XCF SEND error.
