APAR status

Error description

  • In the Schedule Data Manager (SDM) application on the
    Dependencies tab, when you view the  Circular
    Dependency dialog box it unmarks rows marked for deletion.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE
    1. In Work Order Tracking, enter a new work order with a
    duration of 5 and a single task also with a duration of 5.
    2. Enter another new work order, duration 5.
    3. In the Predecessors field, in the Scheduling section of the
    main tab, make the first work order be this one's predecessor.
    4. Go back to the first work order.
    5. On the Plans tab, make the second work order be the
    Predecessor of the task.
    6. Save the record.
    7. Go to Graphical Scheduling and create a new schedule for the
    2 new work orders.   Save.
    8. Go to the Scheduler Data Manager application and open the
    schedule made in GS.
    9. Click on the Dependencies tab.
    10. Click on the Validate Constraints button.
    11. Mark one row to be deleted in the Constraints section.
    12. Click on the  Show Circular Dependencies icon toward the
    right end of any row with an Error/Warning of "Cannot have
    circular constraint'.
    13. Click OK.
    RESULTS:
    The dialog is closed and rows are unmarked to be deleted.
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The dialog is closed and rows remain marked to be deleted.
