APAR status

Error description

  • Starting with IBM Spectrum Protect Plus version 10.1.5,
    Microsoft Office 365 emails, calendar entries, contacts and
    data on OneDrive cloud storage can be protected.
    The first inventory of the Microsoft Office 365 application,
    after having registered it, will display a hang symptom if the
    required International Components for Unicode (libicu)
    RPM-package is not installed on the proxy host that acts as the
    cloud proxy machine.
    The connectivity test started from the IBM Spectrum Protect
    Plus GUI will complete successfully even if that required
    package is not present.
    
    The following example displays what will be seen in the

Problem conclusion

  • This problem has been fixed so that when the pre-required RPM
    packages are not installed the agent will put the proper
    information in the job log and completes the job.
