Processing nonPDF documents in Automation Content Analyzer generates Uncaught Exception error

Troubleshooting

Problem

When simultaneously processing multiple documents other than PDFs through IBM Business Automation Content Analyzer (ACA), processing fails with an Uncaught Exception error.  The error can occur with multiple tiffs, jpgs, pngs, docs, ppts, or any format other than PDF.  The backend log contains:
    "error": {
        "timedOut": false,
        "killed": false,
        "code": null,
        "signal": "SIGKILL"
    },
    "level": "error",
