Information Governance Catalog: Inconsistency in Search results between the home screen search and the glossary term filter when searching for glossary terms.

Troubleshooting


Problem

There is an inconsistency in search results between the home screen search and the glossary term filter searching for glossary terms.
The home page search returns case-insensitive results while the glossary term filter is case-sensitive.

Symptom

Create a custom attribute called TextTest of type text.
Update 2 terms with values for this field: - Term 1: “”ABC DEF” - Term 2: “abc def”
Use the main page to search for terms with TextTest “abc”, both items are returned in result. 
Go to the Glossary and select Terms and then use a filter for TextTest “abc”, only one term is returned.
